Book Donations
Your generous donations of gently used books, DVDs, CDs, sheet music books, and other items make our Used Book Sales highly anticipated community events. In 2019, Used Book Sale donations raised more than $36,700! All of these funds go directly to support the library.
If you have a large donation (more than a few books at a time) please contact us so we can coordinate.

How we sell books
Friends of the EDH Library offers two-day Used Book Sale events throughout the year. In addition to in-person Used Book Sale events, we have other sales avenues:
Books are always available for sale on an honor basis in the lobby of the El Dorado Hills Library.
Rare treasures and special finds are sold online through Amazon as well as other avenues.

If your nonprofit organization or community cause is in need of used books, DVDs, CDs and magazines, please contact us.
All financial donations go to support the library. Your donation may qualify for a tax deduction. Check with your tax preparer to understand whether it is tax-deductible for your situation.
