The Friends of the El Dorado Hills Library is one of six chapters of the Friends of El Dorado County Library.

The chapter that serves the El Dorado Hills Library was established in the early 2000s by community volunteers with the goal of raising the money necessary to build and furnish a library in El Dorado Hills to respond to the needs of the steadily growing surrounding community. 

The Friends of the El Dorado Hills Library operates under the bylaws and 501(c)(3) of the Friends of the El Dorado County Library. Our Tax ID number is 94-6127210.
